Live results: Track who’s winning in New Jersey with NJ Spotlight’s election map

It’s Election Day, and New Jersey voters have been hitting the polls since 6 a.m. to choose the next governor of the Garden State, along with state legislators and two ballot questions. We’ll be updating this page live, starting after the polls close at 8 p.m., as we work with NJ Spotlight to feed its live election results map.

We’ll also be livestreaming from inside the News Lab at the new School of Communication and Media building at Montclair State University, where all of the university’s campus media properties will be working together to put on a two-hour live simulcast in conjunction with a handful of Center partners and NJ News Commons members.

The results you see below are preliminary as precincts report. The colors on the map indicate which party is leading by district: RED for Republicans and BLUE for Democrats. (*Indicates an incumbent.)
