ONA New Jersey has launched; here’s how you can join the group

It’s official: The ONA New Jersey group is up and running!

ONA New Jersey is our local wing of the Online News Association. The group is open to any and all writers, editors, innovators, photographers, producers, academics, entrepreneurs and technologists who produce news or support digital news delivery systems.

If that describes you, here’s how you join: Visit the new ONA New Jersey Meetup page and join the group. You’ll have to create a profile on Meetup if you don’t have one already.

Then you’ll be all set!

The leadership team for the group is already busy planning our first event, which we hope to announce soon. We’ll send notifications for all events and announcements to everyone who has joined our Meetup group, so be sure you connect your account to an email address you regularly check. You will also be able to send announcements to the rest of our group, too, using Meetup.

If you have any questions, let us know; the Center for Cooperative Media at Montclair State University is playing a lead role in organizing the group. Email us at [email protected].

About the Center for Cooperative Media: The Center is a grant-funded program of the School of Communication and Media at Montclair State University.
